Questions
Questions and answers
What do “ready for fit-out”, “turnkey” and “fully furnished” mean?
They are the three levels a home can be handed over at. Ready for fit-out means plastered walls, screeded floors and installations brought to their connection points; you choose the floors, tiles, bathrooms and kitchen. Turnkey means the floors, tiles, bathrooms, doors and lighting are in place, so you only bring your furniture. Fully furnished means the furniture, appliances and finishes are all in place.
The Viterra Residence houses are handed over turnkey, and Boutique Residence and Urano Heights fully furnished.
For our other projects, we'll confirm the handover level when you enquire.
What are Act 14, Act 15 and Act 16?
They're the official stages of a building project in Bulgaria. Act 14 is drawn up when the structure, the “rough build”, is complete and accepted. Act 15 confirms the building has been finished to the approved design, and the contractor hands it over to the developer.
Act 16 (the form 16 protocol) establishes that the building is fit for use. On that basis the authorities issue a use permit or a certificate of entry into use, after which the house can legally be lived in.
When you buy off-plan, payments are often staged against these milestones. The exact schedule is set out in the contract we sign with you.
